Hi @Abhi138,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're encountering issues with the BIOS recovery files on your HP Pavilion 15.6 Inch Gaming Laptop, there are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

  • Check HP Support Website: Visit the official HP support website for your laptop model. They often provide BIOS updates and recovery files for download. Make sure you're downloading the correct files for your specific laptop model and version.
  • Use Another Computer: If you're having trouble accessing the files on your laptop, try using another computer to download the BIOS recovery files and create a recovery USB drive.
  • USB Drive Format: Ensure that the USB drive you're using to create the recovery media is properly formatted and has enough space to accommodate the recovery files. HP usually recommends using a FAT32-formatted USB drive.
  • File Integrity: Make sure that the files you've downloaded are not corrupted. Try re-downloading them and comparing their checksums or file sizes with those provided on the HP support website.
  • BIOS Recovery Key Combination: Some laptops have a specific key combination you need to press during startup to initiate the BIOS recovery process. Check your laptop's user manual or the HP support website to find the correct key combination.

Remember that attempting to recover or update your BIOS carries some risk, as a failed BIOS update can potentially render your laptop unusable. Proceed with caution and follow the instructions provided by HP precisely.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

HELLO

My laptop's  (HP ENVY ×360 2-in-1 Laptop 15-eyOxxx) keyboard suddenly stopped working and to fix that I turned it off. When I tried turning it on it kept on showing me a blue screen that said "The BIOS recovery files cannot be found or the files are corrupted". I tried the USB recovery method but it is not working, what should I do?
