Hi,
I recently purchased an HP Omen X 17t and within a month of use, it began giving me issues.
The main issue: When turning ON the computer, the screen remains black. The computer appears to boot up and run (keyboard lights go on), but the signal is not reaching the screen. This problem is intermittent and progressively getting worse, it seems. To "solve" the problem, I've found myself having to hard reset (hold down the power button) the notebook 3-5 times, until the screen shows the OMEN logo and Windows log in.
I'd like to know the following: 1. What is causing this problem?; and 2. What can I do to fix it, please?
I feel rather disillusioned since I've always considered HP to be a reliable company, and I'm currently stuck with a faulty $2500 product.
Thank you to whoever can identify and provide a solution to the problem.
Sincerely,
Nebes
P.S. For what it's worth, I did uninstall a bunch of HP bloatware and adware; I spent $2500 for a solid, reliable notebook, not an portable billboard. I hope none of those HP-related applications is holding the OS hostage.

I don't know of any HP software that you could have uninstalled that would cause this. But then again I have no way of knowing what you removed either.
It might also be from an MS October update you may have installed before it was pulled.
Only thing I can suggest is to contact HP Support for warranty help.
You can find the contact info in the HP Support Assistants Support tab. That is, unless you uninstalled that too.
IF so, then use this link... Contact HP Worldwide | HP® Official Site
If they want you to send it in, you may want to do an F11 HP Recovery back to factory before hand. This will wipe your personal data. But it might also fix the issue too.
They might also have you run a Diagnostics first.
