Product: Omen 17-w273nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Battery is swollen but HP authorized dealer/repair facility cannot source a new one.  Is there a recommended 3rd party manufacturer that makes them?

They could not find it, well we are dead in the water. It use part # 853294-855. Please try

HP Recommended

I knew the part number, it was on the sticker on the old battery.  But a search with HP Support parts-finder doesn't find it.  In fact, it doesn't even recognize OMEN laptops larger than 15.  REALLY disappointing that HP can't seem to support their own products at times.

 

Thanks for the link - I just ordered one, it will be here on the 5th.
