OMEN by HP 15-dh0007na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

just had my new Omen laptop delivered on Friday. However the Bluetooth is not working. Been into device manager everything enabled. All updates complete. Tried troubleshooting it fixes a problem then I restart laptop but still doesn’t connect to any Bluetooth device! Apart from customer services what can I do? Not willing to uninstall drivers or a hard reset as this shouldn’t be the case for a new laptop just out of its box!

When you scan for Bluetooth devices to connect to, do any show up?  Do they stall when attempting to pair?  Have you tried rolling back the Bluetooth driver to an older version?

Thanks for getting back to me. Laptop just stalls until it times out. Doesn’t matter what you try to pair up. All drivers updated. Really didn’t expect this, shouldn’t need to do this with a brand new laptop that has only been set up for a feed hours!

I have also discovered the charger has a connectivity issue so cable has to be a certain way to work and the battery doesn’t hold its charge for long!

Didn’t get the Call of Duty code either which a promo for buying Omen.

I have requested a replacement laptop. Awaiting a response for customer services. Hoping they won’t be long, lost too many  hours of study. Can’t miss any more.

May I ask where you bought it and in what condition it was advertised to be in?  A bunk Bluetooth or a battery issue by themselves I would consider simply bad luck, but both, and a cable issue, sounds like you where sold a returned product.

The laptop was purchased through the HP online store!

So I would have thought it was in excellent condition. I must have received a rogue laptop!
