Product: HP Omen 15-dc1xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought my HP Omen 15-dc1xxx at the beginning of 2020. One of the huge draws for me was the fact that it is supposed to be upgradable. Now that I'm looking into ways to upgrade it, I'm not finding any kind of clear information.

 

What is upgradable on this laptop?

I need the full model/product number of your Omen. The number you gave is only a series ID as indicated by the XXX digits.

Press Control/Alt/S for the information pop-up menu in windows
Or
Go to the Start menu and scroll to H/HP Help and Support/HP Support Assistant.
Open the program and click on your computer in the list.
The 7 digit Product Number will be listed in both those places.

 

What exactly were you're expectations for upgrading? Laptops are not upgradable like a Desktop is. You typically can only upgrade the memory, hard drives and wifi card.

Crucial has a scanner that can run and will show what upgrades you are eligible, and that will work
