i just bought OMEN 15-dc1000nx Gaming Laptop, and i just notice only fan is working is this normal?

Hello @coolkram 

 

One fan usually turns much slower for the gpu side than the cpu side.

But if you're sure the fan is not turning, contact HP Support for a warranty issue.

I will check later upon installing games, because i just bought the laptop three days ago and still I am not using it for games. So its normal that one fan is working but upon using the laptop in games or any application that will produce too much heat, both of the fans will work, am i right?

Only the cpu fan will turn at a high rpm. The other fan will only turn slow. Its been a topic of much debate here many times before.
