Product: OMEN Laptop 15-ek0xxx

The sound that is coming from the laptop is high pitched and very distracting and quite irritating after a few minutes, its a constant high pitch sound and it seems like it coming from the fans of the laptop.

 

After spending a large amount of money on this laptop its very disappointing.

 

if anyone can help me out it would be great, can it be fixed? should I just send it back and get another one or give up on omen and look for something else?

What is your OMEN Laptop 15-ek0xxx  ? Anyway, please perform a clean install Audio software/driver, this should help.


    (a) Download the following driver and save on your computer,
                   https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp112001-112500/sp112265.exe

    (b) Go to Device Manager, Sound to uninstall sound driver (Realtek) and reboot,
    (c) Right click downloaded file and select Run as administrator,
    (d) Reboot again.
