I bought my Omen about a week ago and already it can barely run anything. It was working perfectly fine until now and I've only installed 4 thing's on it...

I believe it's the 17-an030ca. Once I start it, everyhting is working fine but once I open a applicatio it would randomly freez for a bit then continue like normal. It does this to evey application I open, even one's that take up barley any power.... That's as discriptive as I can go. It's like how you would have a laptop for 2 years and don't clear up any space on it.

Ok got ya. I see it now from your other thread.

 

HP is using SSHD's now like is in your system.

Im not sure if the SSHD has anything to do with the lag or not.

 

Run the Diagnostics Tool at power-on and run the full extended tests.

Also run Component Test>Hard drive>Extensive test separately.
