Microsoft Windows 11

I bought a Hp Victus 15 model fb3721ax during last June in Malaysia, and i found there is buzzing sound and screen freezing when i unplug the charger from laptop after fully charged. That issue happened whenever the charger is unplug from laptop, and/or switch off plug when the charger is plugging in. This problem didnt solved after several on-site visit from the Hp technicians. I was told to wait the latest bios update but the date was remained untold. I asked the Hp staff to help me convey my concerns but they didnt let me know did they did it or not. There was no clear feedback from them. Hmmmm

My windows version is 24H2

@yyyyc, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Victus 15

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

It seems that you are encountering technical difficulties that have not been resolved by on-site visits from HP technicians. Here are a few recommendations that could potentially help in solving your problem:

BIOS Update: Since you mentioned waiting for a BIOS update, it’s crucial to keep your system updated with the latest BIOS releases as they can often contain fixes for hardware-related issues. You can regularly check HP Support for updates specific to your laptop model.

Driver Updates: Make sure all your drivers are updated, particularly the power management and audio drivers, as outdated drivers can sometimes lead to sound and display issues.

Power Settings: Check your power management settings in Windows, particularly those related to what happens when the charger is unplugged. Adjusting these settings may help prevent temporary freezes.

Diagnostic Tools: Use HP Support Assistant to run hardware diagnostics. This tool might help identify if there is an underlying hardware issue contributing to the symptoms.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
