HP Omen O15 Model: 15-en0013dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So I recently bought a HP Omen O15 gaming laptop from BestBuy, and its been working great, no issues, no nothing. After less than half a year using it, I've been noticing it gets warm, and I mean REALLY warm. So I Open Omen Gaming Hub and see the temps, they were both around 100 Deg. I didn't really pay too much attention to it. But after a couple more months later... uh It goes higher, and higher, and higher. And soon was able to get the CPU up to 150 Deg, and the GPU behind it. Naturally, I manually set the fans to Max Power and it started to cool down. And after another month, i got to 190 Deg, with the GPU climbing behind it. It was at this point I started to get worried, and I thought the chip was just gunna burn at this point. And yet again, another month later, I got on, started playing a really light game. And not 5 mins later the fans are at max, and the CPU temp is at......... 230 DEG F AND THE GPU AT 186 DEG F... FROM JUST PLAYING ROBLOX, I KID YOU NOT.

Should I Be Worried, That This Will Explode In My Face, And Burn My House Down?

Please Help.

Hi@Jcavazos80,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I would like to inform you that 90C is normal on the gaming computer. I recommend you use the Omen command center to change the settings which suit your needs.
