@Pratik18051, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding "Camera Not Found" Error on HP Victus 15!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your HP Victus 15-fa0000 is displaying the error code 0xA00F4244, indicating that the Camera app cannot find the camera, follow these troubleshooting steps:
Verify Camera Hardware:
- Ensure that your laptop physically has a camera. Some models may not come with a built-in webcam. Look for a small camera lens located in the top center of your laptop's screen.
Webcam Privacy Switch:
- Check if there's a webcam privacy switch on your laptop. It can typically be found on the sides of the laptop or near the camera. Slide it to reveal the camera if it is covered.
Webcam Shutter Key:
- Inspect if there is a webcam shutter key on your keyboard. It's usually located on the action key row. Press it to enable or disable the camera.
Device Manager:
- Open Device Manager to check if the webcam is listed. If not, try installing any available drivers for the camera. You might also try scanning for hardware changes.
Power Reset:
- Perform a power reset to clear any information from the computer's memory:
- Disconnect any peripheral devices.
- Remove the battery (if possible) and disconnect the AC adapter.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power adapter and the battery, then restart the laptop.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
