@miestapower , welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately, the Product Specifications don't state if you have a M.2, SSD or a Hard Drive Disk (HDD) installed: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-pavilion-gaming-15-dk0000-laptop-pc/26122224/model/37933873/...
Here is the Maintenance and Service Guide: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06377664
On Pages 36 thru 38 is a list of Hard Drives (HDD) and instructions for removing and installing them. You could remove the HDD and install a standard SSD.
On Pages 41 and 42 is a list of NVMe, M.2, SSD's, that are compatible with the motherboard and instructions on removing and installing them.
If you are not proficient with working on computers/laptops it is recommended that you allow an Authorized Service Provider do the install. The repairs won't void your warranty, but if you damage other components the warranty is void.
Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.
