Can I extend warranty after 2 years of pre warranty with the laptop

Hello,

I bought a HP star wars special edition laptop   in 2016, April. My 1 year warranty got void on 2017, April.

Now my laptop is dead, when looking at its symptoms I can confirm that it's a motherboard failure. It's should be replaced.

My question is,

1. if I bought the 3 year Carepack now worth 299$, will I get the warranty?

ie, from (April 2017 to April 2020)

2. If I will get the warranty then, does motherboard will cover in that carepack?

3. If I cannot use carepack or not covered motherboard in carepack then how can I buy a genuine part. As I cannot see motherboards in hp store.

It's very urgent, let me know the details

The time to buy an extended warranty is before the computer is out of original warranty, and certainly before the computer dies and needs service.
