My laptop is overheating while playing games, can I get onsite repair, even if the device is oit of warranty?

If you are asking whether HP will come to your location:

Unless there is something radically different about HP in your region, the answer is No.

HP is not a general repair depot - that is, HP does not typically accept out-of-warranty repairs.

HP does not "come to your location" without a specific type of Warranty that covers this type of service.

 

If you are asking whether any repair shop will come to your location:

Contact one or more of the local repair shops in your area and ask whether the shop supports on site repair options.

Warranty Check

 

Check the Warranty on your product

         Warranty Check – Single or Multiple Devices

 

NOTE:  Warranty date is updated after purchase and registration of the device.

If the device is not registered, or if there are other issues, submit a Warranty Dispute form.

 

       NOTE 2:  If the single-system-check fails to find your device, use the "multiple devices" method to

check single or multiple devices.

 

  • If necessary, Select your Country on the main website page or at the bottom (click Flag)
  • Scroll down > To the right of Check multiple warranties, Click Continue
  • Enter the Serial Number and Country for one or more devices / systems to be checked
  • Check the box to verify you are "Not a robot"
  • Click Submit (at bottom of list entries)
  • When the page opens, Click View Details

 

Reminder: Online database results do not impact the actual contract.

 

Warranty Dispute

Is there any chances that the person repairing laptop at authorised service center could swap parts?(in our absence)

You are asking questions for which I have no real answer.

 

In general, it is my opinion that any authorized and reputable repair house depends on the goodwill of their customers to stay in business.  Is that true where you live?  Hopefully, yes.

 

What else?

 

Because the unit is out of warranty, you have the option of opening the case and inspecting the contents.

Take pictures and do an inventory of what is installed.

 

Take care when choosing who will do the repairs.

For example, check available reviews to see what other customers have said about their experiences when having their device repaired.
