What is it ? Many HP Omen machines has ports at their backs. Many HO Omen machines also have vent outlets around there. By the way, what is your machine ?

Regards.

I'm interested in the following models:  HP OMEN 16-c0055ur, HP OMEN 16-c0005ur.

How wide can these laptops be opened?

Can they be opened like in the attached image?

Thank you for looking into this.

The image shows an HP x360 Envy. You can freely open 360° for all x360 machines but not Omen machines. I can't find any Omen x360 from HP on market.

You can see all vents are at the rear of your Omen machine (Omen 16-c0055ur)

Open your machine to 180° would bake/cook your machine in no time.

Short answer: NO you can NOT. Please do NOT do that.
