Omen by HP Laptop 15-dc0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I am a bit new to owning laptops and I understand I am under a 1 year warranty on my HP Omen gaming laptop. I have noticed a small dent in the side of the body and two 0.5in purple lines on my screen when the screen is black. I was wondering if these small imperfections are able to be repaired under my warranty. Thanks for any help given 🙂

Hello @Chancing

How did you obtain the laptop? Was this ordered through HP store directly or did you purchase from another store?

If you find a problem, you should immediatly report it.

If you purchased from a 3rd party store somewhere (Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart for example), I would contact them about their return policy and exchange it for another one.  That is the fastest option if you purchased from a store.

Or

If you purchased directly from HP, contact the HP Store for further help.

You can also try contacting HP Support for a warranty issue and see what they say... Contact HP Worldwide | HP® Official Site

I got it from Microcenter and the imperfections are just from use over time. I just want to make sure that I can return my laptop under my warranty for the tiny imperfections. Under a warranty from HP can I return it to the store? Thanks for the help by the way.

" the imperfections are just from use over time"

If you physically cause damage to the laptop, HP warranty will not cover it. Its not an imperfection if you cause it.

Warranty only covers parts defects from factory.
