Product: HP Omen 15-en1666nb

I ordered a HP Omen 15-en1666nb for school and I want to keep gaming and school on seperate storages and since it didn't arrive yet I would like to know if its possible to upgrade the storage. And if so do you have any suggestions of what ssd would be good for it.

HP only has the manual for the older model series on the support page.

 

OMEN 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-en1000 Manuals | HP® Customer Support

 

Looks like there is an empty slot to add a second NVMe SSD.

 

See chapter 1 for the info.

 

Suggestions...a Samsung 980.

 

980 SSD | Consumer SSD | Samsung Semiconductor
