I am looking into purchasing a laptop for the dead by daylight game... can this support it? Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello @Crystal25

Is that a used laptop? This one... https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-elitebook-2570p-notebook-pc/5259393/document/c03412731#AbT1

If so then no its not going to run that game or most other games very well at all and it wasn't a gaming computer to begin with. It was intended as a business PC.  Dead by Daylight requirements

If gaming is your main goal, you would do well to get a more up to date modern computer. One that is geared for gaming. That means it not only has a strong CPU, but it has a good dedicated graphics card also. The trouble with older used stuff and depending on its specs, it might run a game at the moment, but it wont be long when that game updates and the requirements go up. Basically you're gonna get what you pay for in that regard.

As far as HP gaming laptops are concerned, I would look for something with either an i5 or i7 8th or 9th gen cpu and at least a GTX 1050ti or higher. Not an Elitebook or other business model.

Does that help answer your question? Let me know.

Thank you for the advice! I’ll look into other computers.
