Product: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-cx0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to upgrade my laptops ram form a 1x 8GB ram card to a 2x 8GB ram. i bought my laptop on the 26th December 2019 and is it working fine but i have had some issues with it like very loud fans and my laptop crashed multiple time on startup thought that have been resolved i still have my concerns about it.

Yes, you can install another 8 GB memory chip.

 

Below is the link to the service manual.

 

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.
