The left GPU fan in my OMEN 15-en0013dx laptop needs to be replaced. I cannot find the correct part. When I try to order it by part number L98737-001 on the https://partsurfer.hp.com website, it tells me the part is not orderable. Help! (Also: do the left and right fans have the same part number? I only see one part number for a fan on the laptop specs, but there are clearly two different fans that look quite different in this laptop.)

Hi:

When I go on eBay and search by that part number, you have the option of ordering the left fan, right fan or both fans.

 

One fan is for the processor and one is for the graphics adapter.

When I search for that part on ebay, the results all refer to the OMEN 15-EK models, none for the OMEN 15-EN. Also, none of the fans pictured on ebay look very much like the fan in the laptop, and it seems uncertain (based on the pictures) that their form factor would really fit in the 15-EN. Are fans for the EK series completely compatible with the EN series?

Unfortunately, that I wouldn't know.

 

I just did a search by the part number.

 

if the fans don't look anything like the ones your notebook has, then I wouldn't take a chance on them.
