Hi @NICK56855,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
To uninstall the "OMEN Gaming Hub SDK" driver after removing the OMEN Gaming Hub app, follow these step-by-step instructions to fully remove the leftover driver and service:
1. Use Apps & Features
- Press Windows + I → go to Apps > Installed Apps
- Look for:
- OMEN Gaming Hub SDK
- HP System Event Utility
- Anything labelled OMEN SDK or HP Gaming Hub Services
- If listed, click the three dots > Uninstall
2. Use Device Manager
- Press Windows + X → select Device Manager
- Expand categories like:
- System Devices
- Software Devices
- Universal Serial Bus controllers
- Look for entries named:
- OMEN SDK
- HP Gaming Hub SDK Driver
- Or similar HP-related virtual devices
- Right-click > Uninstall device
✅ Check "Delete the driver software for this device" when prompted
3. Remove HP Services from Windows
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, press Enter
- Look for:
- OMEN SDK Service
- HP Gaming Hub SDK
- Or anything with "OMEN" or "HP" and "SDK"
- If found:
- Right-click → Stop
- Then Disable
- Now go to:
- C:\Program Files (x86)\HP\ or C:\Program Files\HP\
- Delete any folders named OMEN, HP Gaming Hub, or SDK
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
