HP OMEN 17 -w105nf
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

since I updated to bios F53, fans became really noisy on idle. I wanted to update to F56 in hope to fix the issue but unfortunately it always says "bios not compatible with this device". I tried all the methods possible and yet I get the same error.
I read a similar post in here but unfortunately again the support provided is weak and irrelevant. Is there any actual solution that works ?

HI@HVD3S, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Request you to follow the below troubleshooting steps from the document:-

I understand that you're unable to update the BIOS HP Oman Notebook   and it needs to download one by one and needs to restart the computer to make sure the Adapter or Charger needs to be connected,

unfortunately not, I tried all those steps before and none worked, always I get the "bios not compatible with device issue".
In case of updating through device manager, it says that the best system firmware for my device is already installed.
HP w105nf can't be updated to bios F56. it's just impossible. fix it or remove it from the update list.

I said I tried, it's a bios issue. just report it to the real technical team so they can fix it in the bios.
