Omen by HP 17-ck0000na
Microsoft Windows 11

I am wanting to know if the 17-ck0000na supports adding a 2.5" sata drive? Either by default or with some parts (i.e. is there physically space)?

Or an additional M2 slot failing that.

Failing that too I would assume only the single M2 slot can be upgraded (which is really lame btw).

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your PC.

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

Chapter 1 has the supported drive info.

There are no options or parts to add a 2.5" drive, but there is a second M.2 slot for a NVMe SSD.

See the info in chapter 5 on page 33 regarding the second M.2 SSD slot.

The computer offers two solid-state drive slots, (1) primary and (2) secondary. Both drives require that you
install a thermal pad between the bracket and the drive.

Solid-state drive (1) can house up to a Gen4 solid-state drive. Solid-state drive (2) can house up to a Gen3 solid-state drive.

Thank you, I was struggling to find the relevant manual so that was helpful. Appreciated!
