Hi! I just recently a brand new HP Omen 2020 Gaming Laptop. As soon as I got home, I unboxed it, set up just to the point of the desktop screen, then immediately turned it off. I wanted to check out the SSD so I opened up the back, took out the battery and the Intel Optane SSD M.2 chip that came along with it, then put them back in and attempted to boot up the laptop again. Instead, I was hit with a 3F0 error where the boot device could not be detected and I needed to install a new operating system? I tried again and again repeating the same process only to be back to the same step. The issue from my observation appears to be the SSD itself, but I have no idea why this is happening! Could anyone please explain why this is happening and is there a way to fix this?

Hi @iLumiX,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
