Hi:

See if the storage controller drivers that I zipped up and attached below get Windows to find the drive.

It is the latest version I could find.

20.0.1.1039    08/21/2024

Copy all of the files in the attached file to a USB flash drive.

Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.

Boot from the W11 installation flash drive.

When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.

If you check the box, it should only include the compatible driver.

Click Next, and hopefully, W11 should install.

If not, uncheck the box and try the other driver options available.

I did everything as you said, but these drivers did not fit
I have a disk in the list (933 GB), but its type is unknown, maybe the driver is not needed, maybe it just needs to be activated somehow

Is there a setting in the BIOS to disable the Intel VMD controller?

If there is, you may want to see if disabling the VMD controller gets Windows to find the drive.

Other than that, I can't think of any other suggestions for you to try.

I cannot find an actual storage controller driver specifically for the Intel 14th generation core processors.

No, there isn't

Maybe try with windows 10, or it won't change anything?

I see in your screenshot that Secure Boot is disabled.

Try enabling Secure boot and see if that works.

It didn't help

@Paul_Tikkanen,

Apparently, the Windows installer detected the storage drive with partitions with some type of format. Maybe, the installation setup doesn't require an IRST driver.

@Bigi3126,

Try this if you haven't done so yet.

Select a partition on the storage drive and hit the Delete key on the screen and if a message pops up, just ignore and click OK to delete it. If the storage drive has more partitions, delete all of them the same way. After this operation, select "unallocated space" and click OK (or Next) to proceed the installation process.

Did your notebook come with FreeDOS? Hopefully, the Windows installer can delete partitions with whatever formats they are.
