Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Recently my laptop started shutting itself off, and when i turn it back on it sometimes displays a black screen with some text saying it shut off because it was overheating. When it shuts off i put my hand on the laptop and it doesnt seem to be that hot, I've felt it being hotter and not shutting off. Now i noticed that the caps lock key is blinking, it blinks 5 times long and 8 times short. I tried to do some research on what it is but the highest number that the hp support page goes is 5 long and 4 short. Can anyone tell me whats wrong with my laptop and how to fix it ?
