My C-drive is warning me of low space.  I would, therefore, like to upgrade to a larger SSD drive and copy the existing information from the current one to the new one.  As one would imagine, I would also like to upgrade to the largest size my computer will accomodate.  However, as I've seen on some websites, there are two types of the internal SSD harddrives:  the normal small rectangle (for a laptop) and ones that look like RAM (long, narrow, and thin).  I do not know how to determine my existing one, without taking my laptop apart.  (Online videos show one can "snap" the bottom of the computer apart from the top.)  Is there another way, a more convenient way?  How can I easily find out such information?  I thank you, in advance, for your assistance.

Hi,

If you go into Task Manager (you might need to click on more details) and go to tab Disk it will give you brand in the top right corner of the Window.

The drives listed by @Barachiel are the ones the PC could have come with. However, they do not show what you can upgrade to. There is no limit to the capacity of the M2 drive. So you could insert a 2TB drive with no problem.

Let me know what drive you have.

Hope it helps,

David
