Hello

 

I own OMEN 17,3-inch Gaming-Laptop-PC 17-ck0000 which I use primary for the university. Most of the Time I don’t need the max power of the laptop. Because of that I bought a smaller charger (HP 917649-850 150W charger) which doesn’t work. The reason is the power output which is too "low" and the HP System Event Utility blocks from charging.

 

Question:

Is there a way to bypass this system? or is there an alternative charger to the 330W block?

You must comply with specification. Less than 330W (watts) will not work.
