Hello, I have had this computer for about 6 months now and I would like to clean the fans, however it appears to be rather difficult to open. I have watched a video of my specific computer disassembly. I wish not to make a mistake and potentially ruin something.  I have not opened the product. Is there a glue or film that seals the product shut? and if so how do I go about cleaning the fans without damaging anything.

Thank you for your time.

Hello @Brown004

There is no glue used to seal an HP Laptop cover together. But sometimes there are little plastic tabs that snap together, regardless of removing any screws. If yours does, you simply use a credit card and/or spudger to carefully pry them apart.

Here is your manual, page 28... http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06367545
