I have been having issues with my computer booting up and having insane lag/choppy behavior spikes. It says its a cmos error, but I don't know if it has a cmos. Is there any way to tell? If it doesnt, how do I fix this?

Your notebook does not have a CMOS/RTC battery.

The main battery also serves as the CMOS/RTC battery to maintain the system clock and BIOS settings.

Below is the link to the service manual:

Maintenance and Service Guide (hp.com)

Chapter 3 has the list of parts.

You will find no CMOS/RTC battery part number.

Chapter 5 has the component removal and replacement procedures.

You will find no procedure to remove/replace a CMOS/RTC battery.
