I decided to try comfort mode before going on a heavy gaming session with intense graphics since it gets the fans going right away trying to lower the cpu and gpu temps.I noticed that i get a lot better temperatures right of the bat at around 80-85 tops on cpu and 65-70c on gpu. With any other mode il always reach the limits of temps like 90-95c cpu and 75c gpu and the performance i get is pretty much the same with the power plugged in. Im curious if im the only one?
Any thoughts on this?

Look at the bottom right at the battery Icon, left-click on it and slide it to the middle. By default, it will be set to right by the factory but that will force CPU to run at the maximum clock all the time hence the heat and fan noise
It took me a while to figure this out too, It's a shame HP doesn't know what they are doing

I understand that but that isnt the question, the question is why if i use comfort mode i get around the same performance and way better temps, which is supposed to be for 'casual tasks'.Where with performa ce or default again with similar performance i get 95c and more which is considered high and damaging long term.
