HP Omen 17.3in
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

feedback on how HP handles problems they cant fix... they take away your product they do,not give you the any options on repair, replace, or refund.

I chose HP as they are one of the few companies that make a gaming laptop with a touchpad that has the left and right click seperated.

I bought an 17.3 Omen with the 8gb dedicated graphic, a cpu tht could turbo boost to 5ghz, and a decent amount of ram...

this laptop unfortunitly had back light bleed, it got sent away twice and on the rd attempt to fix it they told me they couldnt fix the laptop have a refund...

so after having another look around for a laptop with these specs and physical features I realised i cant find another laptopand though i could by an external monitor and just use it as a desktop pc... however HP refused this option and the customer relations guy i spoke to refused to put me through to someone higher. so I have to accept the refund...

however to reciev the refund i have to print out, fill in, and scan back the refund form. I dont own a printer, work personal emails are blocked so I cant use work printers, and the libray only allows access to government websites.

I ased could they send the form in adobe reader that wasnt an options, i was told to go to any shop in town and ask to have these forms printed...

Nobody would allow a stranger to plug in a USB or access their personal emails and risk a hack or virus.

so my only solution was to go out and spend more money on a printer/scanner and ink to get £1700 because they cant send

me back my laptop.or send the form in Adobe reader form... ITS 2021 YOU CAN FILL OUT FORMS ONLINE, ITS NOT A NEW IDEA

They wont refund me the cost of the printer or refund me the money i spent on upgrading the opertaing system from win10 home to win10 pro.

when asked can I send the information back in an email (out side the boxes) first answer was no the second answer was a maby.

lastly they required an IBAN number and  my bank doesnt have this, ( i thought i purchased the laptop from a UK website)

so Iv had to set up another account with tranfer wise (hopfully HP doesnt get confused when my IBAN number doesnt match my bank account )

my 7yr old hp probook will be the 1st and last HP product I ever buy

nor will recommend HP  to friends and family if this is the kind of headache I mean service they might recieve.

Your post or reply doest fix the issue, it does not fix the fact that HP still has my laptop and wont refund me my 1700 for the laptop they say the cant repair or return... Yor words are a weak pathetic attempt to resolve theft of my money or a product , meanwhile "company policy" doesnt allow for refund forms to be completed online... so iv had to buy a printer ... yes iv had to spend more money to get my money back from you... i made sure to purchase a cannon a printer ( you know the company thats also dropped its partnership with HP)

im still waiting for my refund for the laptop
