Hello
I am struggling to find the exact spec. for my gaming laptop. Since I want to use it in semi-pro music production, I would need a 4-8 TB replacement of the 1 TB SSD that came with the laptop.
Which largest kind of NVMe/PCIe M.2 SSD would work in this laptop (form-wise, capacity-wise)?
Which version of PCIe is it? 4.0? 5.0? Older?
Is there enough space for an SSD-unit with a heatsink?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Kind regards
Henry

You must always indicate the complete PC model, as HP manufactures thousands of models, all of which are different.
PCIe 3.0. You can use other versions, but the speeds will be limited to PCIe 3.0.

If you do not indicate which PC model you have, we cannot know the PCie version. If you already have an M.2 drive, you can see the version there and use the size you want: 2 TB, 4 TB, or more.

it is strange because i had to specify the exact type of device in the form when i posted the original message. seems to be a process-problem of this forum that it is not shown with the message.
anyway: my laptop is a 15-ec0909nz, serial # 5CD0490QQY
thanks in advance for your help!

yes, thank you, this i would have known on my own.
i thought it is possible to find exact info here, as requested in my original post, but if not, that's ok. i will find it on my own.
but at least the PCIe version should be available here, right?
kind regards
