Hi. I have a HP envy 13 laptop that does not have a HDMI or DisplayPort port. There's only :
1 Thunderbolt™ 3 (40Gbps signaling rate) with SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge);
1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate (HP Sleep and Charge);
1 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate;
1 AC smart pin;
1 headphone/microphone combo
My omen monitor came with a usb3.2 Gen2 to type c cable and i tried to use that to connect but it does not work (I think it's only for data transfer?). I don't know much about monitors and was gifted the monitor so please help me out 😭
Do I have to buy an adapter? If yes, what do I have to look for?
