Omen by HP i7 9th gen 1660ti

I have just got the HP Omen 15 2019 laptop with the i7 9th gen and the 1660ti 16gb of ram and here is the problem only 256gb of ssd and my question is could i add another ssd to it from another laptop and maybe even a hdd to it because i am not for sure if my other laptop has a ssd in it i think it only has a hdd and ssds are pretty up there now an days and i am a bit low on funds at the moment any help would be appreciated!

What is your Omen ?  For example OMEN by HP 15-dc1088wm, its specs

For the above machine, you can add 2.5" HDD or SSD to it, but you need more parts namely

 

  • Hard drive cable connector part # 929450-001
  • Hard drive brackets part # 929561-001

I don't know how I would even get this out because of how tight it's in there and can I fit a sshd in there and i wouldn't need those 2 parts now?
