Pavilion 5AZ55UA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've had my pavilion gaming laptop for about a year and a few months. But one day after work I went to close my laptop to hear some plastic cracking/breaking sounds. Opening it back up and closing it again, the cracking sounds continued and some tiny screws fell out of the hinge corner that is cracking open. It looks like screws connecting the metal hinge to the screen has broken from their mounts and when closing the screen the hinge is cracking the plastic open. I've left the screen in a permanent open position to try to limit the damage, but when the screen is closed it's crooked. I'm very afraid it will cause screen to break or cause even worse damage. Does anyone have any experience with this issue and fixing it? I'm unfortunately out of warranty by a few months.

Hi, I responded about a week+ ago to the private message.  I was curious if there was any follow up information, I haven't heard anything yet.
