DOCK STATION WITH Power Supply true usc-c thunderbolt-

Hello i have bought a Omen 15-dc1006np I7 RTX2060 RGB 144Hz and i have a usbc- thunderbolt connection on the back of my laptop. I bought a HP Usb-C Dock G4 but the dock dont charge my laptop true usb-c/thunderbolt port.

I check the specifictions of the G4 Dock and only supllies power of: 

USB-C PD 3.0 supporting:

5 V/3 A

9 V/3 A

10 V/3 A

12 V/3 A

15 V/3 A

20 V/3 A

My Laptop needs a 19,5V 10,3A. So this Dock HP G4 works but dont charge my laptop, even using my laptop charger to charge the Dock. 

Can you tell me if the the HP ZBOOK THUNDELBOLT 3 Dock will suplly? i see the cable to connect to laptops and my laptop doesnt have the usbc-thunderbolt next to the charge port of the laptop

Hello @DanielPonte 

You must use the 200w AC charger that came with your laptop to charge it with. Neither Thunderbolt or USB will be able to charge the laptop as they could not supply enough current. The description on your specs page that says "HP Sleep and Charge" means the laptop can output a charge to peripherals like smart phone or external hard drives, but it does not input.

Oh I see now, you were wanting to know if the laptop would power the dock.

Yes, you will be better off getting the AC power supply for the dock also.

Hi.

No i want to power the computer with the Dock.

But also i have bye the power suplly for the dock.

When i bye the dock it doenst came with power supply, and i tested with the power supply of my laptop

Only after i see that was not possible to the laptop be charged by this Dock, and with no other.. according to you.
