I have found a dead pixel on my screen after about a year, the pixel gets brighter depending on the darkness of black. It appears to only be visible on black but this is a prettyedited common colour. I'm not quite sure what to do about it.

On another note, the warranty expired a few months ago (inconvenient timing) and im in no position to afford a new laptop. I have tried many various solutions to fix it that i have found online such as the the rubbing method as well as using flashing screens to try and bring it back to life, it just doesn't seem fair that this problem occured without any compensation because its literally out of my control and lies on the manufacturing of the laptop.
