Product: Spectre Convertible X360
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Why would a newly rechargeable battery purchased from HP Store become defective or bloated in less than a year after purchase? 

I am currently purchasing my third battery and a bottom cover due, which subsequently broke due to a bloated rechargeable sitting right against the base cover. 

Does this sound normal? 

Needless to say, I am not  a “ happy camper “ and I am outrageously furious
