Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Battery Backup:

The battery backup of my device is reduced drastically from 3 hours per charge to a one-hour per charge. I have done the diagnosis but not able to know the exact reason or any error regarding that.

Audio Output:

The right speaker is not functioning. At the time I bought the device, It was fine but after some days, it stopped functioning.

Cooling FAN Heavy Sound:

The cooling fan is producing a heavy Sound. Not very often but many times.

Please Help me resolve these issues ASAP as my warranty is going to be completed in 10 days.

@pkrmarthala,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing multiple issues on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphic driver from the below link and this should address the fan noise and battery issue.

For the audio issue follow the below steps.

  1. In the search box on the taskbar, type audio troubleshooter, select Fix and find problems with playing sound from the results, then select Next.
  2. Select the device you want to troubleshoot and then continue through the troubleshooter.

You can also launch the troubleshooter from audio Settings. Select Start  > Settings > System  > Sound  > Troubleshoot.

If running the troubleshooter doesn't help, continue to the next tip.

2. Verify that all Windows Updates are installed

To check for updates

  1. Select Start  > Settings  > Update & Security  > Windows Update   > Check for updates.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • If the status says "You're up to date, go to the next tip.
    • If the status says "Updates are available," select Install now
  3.  Select the updates you want to install, then select Install.
  4.  Restart your PC and see if your sound is working properly.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
