HP Omen 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just bought the HP Omen 15 2018 model recently. I just want to report some of the minor issues encountered with the RGB keyboard backlight. I think it kinda getting worse after a BIOS update from F.03 to F.07. I noticed that some of the keys' backlight acts weird in such a way that half of the button is dimmer than the other half for each of these keys. (It is like when you set a key to yellow, it does show yellow but with half of the key show kinda orangish.) I wonder if it is hardware issue or just BIOS update change which can be fix. If someone notices this kind of issue and know the fix somehow, please help.

HEllo @Andy7353

Ive never heard of such a thing like this. Im more suspicious of it being the keyboard lighting itself. I assume you are still under warranty. I would contact HP and make a claim. They might want to get it from you and fix it.

Thanks @Photoray002 for your reply.

Actually it is not a big deal in daily usage. I don't think it will be worthy to use the warranty for such minor problem which actually is a flaw created by the manufacturer itself. Also, there is no performance mode option in the omen command centre even I updated to the latest version of BIOS beside default and comfort mode. Kinda frustrating...
