So I just received this laptop today and as I was going through the settings I found that I was unable to change the refresh rate of the display even after changing the resolution to 1080p. The product description is a little confusing but from what I understood from it, it states that you can change the refresh rate to 144hz. I wasn't naive enough to think I could do this at 4k but I thought maybe it was possible after lowering the resolution. Am I missing something in the settings? or did I just not understand what I was buying.

Hello @AnthonyE1

I think you just misunderstood. A 4K laptop screen can only do 60Hz, even if you change the resolution.

There are screens on some of the models in the series that do 144Hz, but those are 1080p only and cannot do 4K.

Im sorry.
