Hi,

 

i bought an omen notebook 12 months ago sometimes this dotted vertical lines appear almost on the full  screen but i see them only in the background under the icons. someone else experienced this problem too? What can I do to solve this problem?ADC0246F-1423-45D5-8FD2-CCFEC8B8A89B.jpeg

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Are you facing this issue after an update?

Have tried updating the BIOS, Graphics, and Chipset?

Try with a different external monitor and check if it works.

 

Follow the below steps to boot into BIOS page.

 

1. Turn on or restart the computer.

2. While the display is blank, press the f10 key to enter the BIOS settings menu.

 

 

Check if the issue persists on BIOS.

 

If the display is working fine.

 

Click on this link: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03467905 for using HP Support Assistant and update the computer and the Drivers.

Dear Raj1788,

 

Thank you for your fast answer. No this problem is appear from the first day of use. I bring back my first Omen to the seller within the first 72hours after i bought the exchange to a new one untile then the problem occured I do 2 or 3 BIOS updates and i updated the other drivers to with the assistance program too. They didnt solve the problem.

Does the issue persist in the BIOS page?

Did you try connecting to a different monitor and check if the issue persists?
