HP Pavilion

Hello guys,

I bought new hp laptop and found many unnecessary programs. I uninstalled most of hp bloatware and turned off services but I'm not sure about one. I don't know if HP Omen HSA service is needed. Sorry for bad englando.

OK thanks @Saell that helps.

I have no idea why anything would be preinstalled on your Pavilion thats OMEN related.

I see HP even has the Omen SDK package listed in the drivers page on their website. 😲

If you have not done so yet, make sure Restore Points is enabled in Windows.

Then remove the Omen HSA service.

If something breaks, you can restore Windows back to the point prior to removing it.

@Saell

Please post the correct Product Number of your machine.

Did you uninstall the HP Support Assistant? The Support Assistant can be left installed as it wont harm your system.

But if its gone, reboot the PC and rapidly tap the F1 key until an Info Menu appears.

What is the Product Number?

It's HP Notebook Pavilion Gaming 15-dk0026nw.

I think I did few weeks ago. I don't see any HP programs in app and features or control panel. Today I noticed few services like touchpoint analytics or HP network HSA. I disabled them but not sure about that one. That's why I'm asking.
