My battery works decently now as I just replaced it, but I was wondering if I would be able to get a portable charger to take with me when I’m not near outlets. I am not sure if there are any that can support a laptop like mine or if I need to look for only batteries with a specific wattage output or what. I appreciate any advice. Thanks!

Nearly all notebooks use portable chargers. I believe you are talking a smaller/lighter charger. The specs of your machine is

             https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06657657

It uses  200 W Smart AC power adapter and it has 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 5Gbps signaling rate (DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port which does NOT support USB Power Delivery. Therefore the answer is: No, you can NOT use USB-C charger and you need a normal charger with wattage rating 200W or above.
