If you stay in the United States, Yes.  If you ship it to India, No.

The specific model number has to be sold in your country, in order for the warranty to work.

Global warranty means a specific model number is sold in two or more countries. So only those countries would have warranty for it.

If you had to have warranty service on the dc0051nr and you live in India, you would have to ship it to a friend in the United States and have them do the warranty claim for you. Then they will have to ship it back to you when it was fixed.

I don't recommend buying from the US and sending it to another country only for that reason.
