Hey I wanted to connect an external monitor to my laptop HP omen AX249x so that i can play on 144 hz but i need a hdmi 2.0 port and HP's specification doesnt show the port version on my laptop

If you're trying to connect a 1080p monitor thats 144Hz, it will work.
