I bought LAPTOP HP Omen 17 4RQ69EA (OMEN by HP - 17-an103nm) and i would like to buy Samsung Curved Gaming Monitor C49HG90 but before i enter in this big investment i need to know does anyone has experience about combination i wrote in my text before. I want to use thease laptop on this monitor for gaming and video/multimedia editing. i am worried because that samsung monitor is very big and i am in question is there posibility if i play games on it i damaged my GPU on oMEN?

That laptop has a GTX 1070. You can google 1070 performance for a 144Hz monitor and see test results. Trouble is, you are pushing the res of 2 monitors now. You can game but its not going to be ideal for high end gaming. YOu will most likely be running those kinds of games on lower settings.
That kind of monitor is really best suited for a high end desktop.
You wont damage the laptop, but do keep an eye on the temps. Running really high temps is not good on the system.
It will be just fine for doing graphics work.

do i really need luck or my laptop and monitor will be enough....the question is: is it there possibility i damage GPU if i play games on laptop but not on laptop screen (it will be turned of) just on samsung screen?
