Hi i am using hp omen 15 en0036ax laptop. I want to upgrade my SSD . Does my laptop have extra ssd slot? If so what's the maximum SSD can i add upon it.

Hi:

 

According to chapter 1, page 2 of the service manual at the link below, your notebook has two M.2 slots for NVMe SSD's.

 

One is currently occupied by the 512 GB SSD your notebook came with, and the second one is empty.

HP offered this configuration...

 

Multiple storage Configuration
256 GB, PCIe, NVMe, TLC + 256 GB, PCIe, NVMe, TLC

 

I suppose you could go with up to 1 TB in each slot if you wanted to, as the drive capacities are just what HP offered in the model series.

 

Chapter 5 has the SSD removal and replacement procedure.

 

If you look at the picture of the motherboard in chapter 6 on page 38, you can see the empty second SSD slot to the left of the battery.
