Hi everyone!
We all know that games run smooth when the power chord is connected to laptop, but one thing that bothers me is what to do when the battery gets fully charged ? Keeping it plugged with supply will hurt its performance in the long run and on the other hand charging and discharging is also not good for the battery, so what should one do ?

Hi @bsharpq
Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the battery issue.
You can leave the AC Adapter plugged-in while playing the games as the Notebook PC won’t “overcharge” the battery — it will stop charging when it reaches capacity.
Plug notebook PCs into an AC adapter to give the graphics card more power.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
